For many, the name ESYXE is new. We may not know exactly what it is or what it stands for, but we know we're curious and ready to find out. I recently sat down with Joshua Baker, Marketing Director for ESYXE Real Estate Group to learn about this intriguing local business. Here's what we learned:
What is ESYXE?
We focus on our neighbours, clients and friends with honest, forward thinking real estate services. How do you say it? It’s pronounced “Essex” – just like the town in Ontario, or the county in England, but YXE makes it much closer to home. ESYXE is a group of four CENTURY 21 Fusion Real Estate agents who are making waves, and having some fun.
How did ESYXE come together?
Our team was created out of a desire to take really great care of families, friends and clients. We saw a great opportunity to combine our strengths. Buying a home can be intimidating, and selling your home can seem daunting. So when life changes, you need someone you really trust to help make those big home decisions - and we’ve always appreciated that about our fellow ESYXE agents, the integrity and reputations they had established in Saskatoon, so it only made sense to combine forces.
How are you different from other Realty companies?
People are choosing to work with Jessica & Dan or Randy & Sherri because of the good things they hear from their friends: Maybe it was a fast sale, or the personal care through purchasing their new home. Maybe the clever marketing or great photography or home video tours that left an impression. Ultimately, our clients all have stories and great ideas, and we’re here to listen and make it happen.
What do you love about the Saskatoon Fashion & Design Festival?
It’s amazing how EVERYONE can enjoy the Festival - from the classy high-end runway events, to the family-friendly and free POSE show & market at river landing. It’s SO MUCH FUN for everyone. And to know that these beautiful pieces are coming from local designers, it’s really inspiring.
Why do you feel it's important to support fashion in Saskatchewan?
Because we love great fashion! Why follow trends from other cities when we can set the trends right here. We are so excited to see what happens next in this city’s thriving fashion scene, and it’s important to get behind really great artistic endeavours.
