Luxury. Elegance. Sophistication. Three words describing so well what the Two Fifty Two Boutique is all about. Until just recently I had never visited the classy fashion boutique. Hearing nothing but positive reviews from many people, including our blog feature model Maygen, 'I like Two Fifty Two a lot!' she replied after being asked to model. Now with my first visit under my belt, I would most definitely echo that sentiment.
Upon my visit to TFT, I realized how much this boutique has to offer Saskatoon. The quality labels carried in the store are exclusive to Saskatoon and include some serious names like Kate Spade, Cynthia Rowley, and DVF. Labels that prairie girls like me could only purchase out of Province until this beauty of a store was introduced. Not only were the labels impressive, the genuine customer service when we arrived in the store was warming. The ladies welcomed us with smiles and were eager to assist and make sure our visit was a pleasant one. Now let's meet Mackenzie!
I'm pleased to introduce to you the owner of TFT, Mackenzie Firby. Growing up on a farm near Kenaston, SK, Mackenzie was raised with strong family values and the belief if you work hard enough you can achieve anything. She believes, "no height is ever set to high! I do what I put my mind to!"
Mackenzie has a passion for business and fashion, and TFT seems to be the perfect marriage of the two. She completed her Commerce degree at the U of S, and worked for SaskTel for several years and then later worked as a Territory Sales Representative for an International Food Company before accomplishing her dream of opening her very own boutique!
Mackenzie treasures the importance of family, and states the store wouldn't have been made possible without the help and support of her father, Barry. Mackenzie is the youngest of three children, but even though the children have left the family farm, her father still calls it home. Mackenzie's mother, Chris passed away a few years ago leaving Mackenzie with the inspiration behind the boutique name. TFT comes from Chris's birthday, February 25th, 1952 allowing the memory of her mother to live on.
TFT is very excited about sponsoring Hillberg and Berk for the 2015 Festival! When asked about the decision to sponsor H&B, Mackenzie says the decision was easy as both brands exude luxury and exclusivity, it was the perfect fit!
TFT offer a wide selection of high-end clothing and footwear, handbags, jewelry, and even phone and laptop cases! This boutique is ready to dress you from head to toe for any occasion, whether it's jeans and a t-shirt, to an elegant dress and everything in between. It should be mentioned if you love to express your individuality through style, TFT only orders a few of each item so you will remain unique! However, if you really have your heart set on that perfect skirt, TFT is happy to accommodate special orders in sizes xs to 1x.
I must say it was an absolute dream being able to style in this shop. In fact, I went in with the intention of shooting one look but actually couldn't narrow it down past three. So here they are, LOOK 1 is inspired by the upcoming festival season. With Jazz Fest fast approaching this gorgeous printed maxi provides the comfort and style you need in order to strut around those Bess Gardens. The Vest provides the perfect compliment to the outfit by adding a bit of structure to the soft silhouette of the maxi. Finally, the neutral Kate Spade tote adds sophistication and completes the look with eye-pleasing effect.

This fabulous relaxed fit Maxi dress is the perfect staple for any women's wardrobe. The colour is rich and fun, and pairs so beautifully with either warm golds or cool silvers. We chose a neutral structured bag with textured handles to add to the luxuriousness of the look, and a chunky pendant necklace to match the elegant length of the Maxi. Swoon!

- Botkier Bag $425

Ahhh!! I'm gushing over this look! Pattern and print mixing is one of my favorite things in fashion. I love mixing scale, colour and texture to create a one of a kind look. The printed Kate Spade skirt and top are pieces exclusive to TFT, and the feeling of the fabric is as rich as it looks. The clutch by DVF completes the outfit by pulling together the rich violet and magentas hues, which pair so nicely with the yellow-gold accessories. BAM!
