I'm sure we all have someone in our life that we look to for fashion advice, style inspirations, and current fashion trends. For some that may be a best friend or family member; it may even be someone we don't know personally, like a celebrity, or a fashion blogger! Well needless to say, we're always in awe of how these people meticulously put themselves together, and they create this desire to bring out our inner fashionista. Local YXE fashion blogger Brittany Shneider, is one of those people. She has an eye for stellar style, and I asked her to demonstrate how she would incorporate local fashion designer T. Akins into her sweet wardrobe. What you'll find below = goals!
LOOK 1 - urban edgester
BRITTANY'S INSPO BEHIND THE LOOK:
BRITTANY: For this look, I wanted to create something that I could wear any day of the week. It is comfy, casual, and something I feel like me in. The colour palette is very neutral, but the hand painted father on the top adds a fun, colourful aspect to the outfit.
OUTFIT: Leather jacket: Mackage "Rumer" jacket (Aritzia) - Pants: Coulomb pant (Aritzia) - Shoes: Addidas Stan Smith - Sunnies: Aldo - Top: Designer T.Akins
LOOK 2 - hip happening chic
BRITTANY'S INSPO BEHIND THIS LOOK:
BRITTANY: I was most excited to style this wolf dress! It is something quite different than what I would normally go for, but that's what made it so fun for me. I thought the best way to make it more me was to edge it up a bit. I added an all black bomber jacket, a black choker, and my favourite white converse. I wanted it to be a look that was more on the edgy side, but still with a feminine flair.

OUTFIT: Dress: T. Akins, Jacket: League jacket (Aritzia), Shoes: Converse high tops
LOOK 3 - The Hummingbird
BRITTANY'S INSPO BEHIND THIS LOOK:
For this beautiful black dress, I wanted to channel my sophisticated side. I wanted to go for a more classy look, so I automatically grabbed my favourite pair of lace up black heels. For a finishing touch, I decided to add (you guessed it), a choker. I felt like I belonged in an episode of Sex & The City -- #TeamCarrie!
OUTFIT: Dress: T. Akins, Shoes: Lord & Taylor (Hudson's Bay), Choker: Aldo
STYLE 4 - white on white
BRITTANY'S INSPO BEHIND THE LOOK:
BRITTANY: I have been loving all white looks lately, so when I received this all white bra top, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted something very feminine and airy, but with movement. I loved how well the lace skirt paired with the top, and thought the all white scarf was a perfect finishing touch.
OUTFIT: Skirt: (Tonic), Top: T.Akins, Scarf: Lyric embroidery blanket (Aritzia), Shoes: BCBG (Town Shoes)
