Following the AGM we are excited to welcome SREDA (Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority) to present a free Business Strategies and Management Workshop!

Workshop Description

Your business plan usually is made up of content that forms the basis of your strategic plan, operational plan and financial plan. Strategic planning provides a detailed proposal for achieving specific goals within a certain time frame for your business. Strong strategy considers the overarching and short term goals of a company and provides specific action items in order to achieve each goal. After your business has launched, implementing logical strategies will help you maintain and grow your market share. This seminar will help attendees:

  • Understand the concept of strategic planning and learn components of a strategic plan

  • Understand how vision and mission statements guide strategic planning

  • Learn tools to organize research and ideas

  • Learn examples of foundational strategies in marketing, operations and human resources

  • Address challenges in implementing and evaluating a strategic plan

This workshop will be presented by Shenuka Wickramasinghe.
