Featured today is Eleganzia Couture. The unique African-inspired designs of Abigail Coleman lit up the outdoor runway on Sunday June 7th at SFDF's POSE. The bold use of pattern, print and colour made it the ideal spectacle for such a gorgeous backdrop. Many may shy away from incorporating so many primary colours into a look, but Eleganzia Couture made it seem effortless and proved it is possible, and when done right is beautiful.
Not only were the gorgeous garments meticulously designed and sewed by Abigail Coleman; some of the shoes, bags, and jewellery were as well. An impressive collection of tailored, fashionable pieces was included in the runway set. The designer definitely understands the fashion landscape and adds her own twist of elegance. SFDF was very excited to have Eleganzia Couture featured as a designer in the 2015 festival, and looks forward to seeing more from this designer in the coming years.
