TWO FIFTY TWO: STYLING CHALLENGE

For today's feature, we asked U of S Law student and International Pageant Queen, Siera Bearchell to model 3 unique looks from the Two Fifty Two boutique styled by the fabulous Kate Matthews! Also, because I love a good style challenge... I asked the looks to incorporate 4 EXCLUSIVE brands from Two Fifty Two!

Stylist, Kate Matthews definitely stepped up to the plate for this challenge, and created 3 distinct practical looks pertaining to Siera's personal and professional life.  Read on about what these unique occasions are, and about the exclusive brands only carried at Two Fifty Two in Saskatoon!

LOOK ONE: SFDF 'POSE' READY

If there is one thing we know as prairie living Canadians, it's that weather can be unpredictable. We know if we're heading out for the day we have to be prepared with a hat for the intense sun, and a jacket for the cooler temperatures in the evening. This outfit does just that! The Frame denim cutoffs and the Zoe Karssen white tee are the perfect combo of summer fashion made easy; and the Doma fringe jacket and Ace of Something Hat will have you ready for when the elements come a calling.

This outfit is the perfect option for SFDF's POSE event on Sunday June 5th. Be practical by wearing cute sneaks such as these made by ZCD, bring a hat to protect those cheeks, a jacket for later in the evening, and of course wear something easy yet stylish for visiting all those vendors at the designer marketplace!

LOOK TWO: FROM DESK TO DINNER

Whoever said that professional fashion needs to be boring... well certainly not my Mama. I learned at a young age that creating a professional image with my wardrobe is of utmost importance to building a positive reputation in the workplace. Our talented stylist Kate demonstrates how to do that with this dual purpose look for our law student Siera.

Kate selected this flattering DVF gingham pencil skirt because it can truly be paired with any colour such as this Kate Spade blouse. Not only can this skirt be paired with colour, try a monchromatic style, or even have fun and mix it with a printed blouse. The options are truly unlimited which means it is the perfect staple in your wardrobe.

Heading to happy hour after work? Well turn heads by adding a classic leather IRO moto jacket and Botkier bag to your blouse and pencil skirt combo! Be BOLD, be PROFESSIONAL, and be MEMORABLE.

(Shoes: DVF pumps)

ABOUT THE BRANDS ABOVE:

IRO

IRO is a Parisian-based brand founded in 2005 by brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton. Inspired by their love of rock music and the fashionable women in their circle of friends who had an original sense of style, they created a clothing line with a distinct vintage feel that at the same time mirrored a nonchalant, easy chic style. The line includes both men’s and women’s ready to wear, accessories, footwear, and small leather goods.

TFT carries Ready to Wear sizes - 34-44 (2-12)

Botkier

Monica Botkier’s keen eye for accessories has resonated with the designer since her upbringing in New York City. A true New Yorker at heart, Monica’s collections are influenced by the constantly evolving landscape that is her hometown.

In 2003, while Monica was building her name as a fashion photographer globally, she decided to launch her namesake label from her SoHo showroom. The first collection introduced the classic Trigger bag, which became a cult classic for the brand. In 2007, Monica was recognized for her contributions to the accessories industry by being inducted as a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Botkier has created a niche in the accessory handbag market that previously had a void and consumers were awaiting an approachable designer handbag brand. Botkier was the first independent designer accessories brand and Monica continues to run the Botkier business with the same innovation and passion from the brand’s inception. Each handbag embodies luxury through custom detailing and quality leather while maintaining functionality.

Botkier has been featured in the pages of ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Marie Claire and VOGUE. Botkier celebrity fans include Angelina Jolie, Beyonce Knowles, Halle Berry, Jessica Alba and Rihanna.

LOOK THREE: MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT PRE PARTY

Siera is ready for the pre party for the Miss Universe pageant in this black David Lerner dress! The outfit is complimented so well with this bold fucsia DVF clutch and finished off with black sparkly DVF heels. There's no doubt people will be voting for Miss Canada after they spot her in this outfit!

Two fifty two will be sponsoring dean renwick for the 2016 spring festival, here's what mackenzie has to say about it!

We are thrilled to sponsor Dean Renwick - his collection is much like the collections that we carry in our showroom. Dean’s website states that: Clean, tailored lines and sexy sophistication are the hallmarks of Dean’s limited edition designs. All of his pieces are made to look their beautiful best on real women, not hangers.

I feel that the designers and brands that we carry in the store also excel at this. Easy to wear pieces that feel and look amazing on real women! His ideals align with ours and we dress a similar demographic.

Local needs to support local! We have a strong Shop Local attitude and are excited to be partnered with such an amazing designer!

A huge thank you to Mackenzie and the staff of Two Fifty Two boutique. We are so grateful and excited to have your support for the 2016 Festival! A second giant thank you to our wonderful and talented stylist, Kate Matthews and to our super babe model Siera Bearchell! You got mad skills girls!
